Web Fest is the biggest SE European web festival and conference founded in 2007 by Agena – hall of fame web agency from this part of Europe. ICONs’ creative director was a partner in Agena and creator of Web Fest visual identity, concept and communication strategy. ICON is successor of Agena and Web Fest. Festival stepped outside of the common ways of promoting the web and for the first time used a new strategy to approach the use of web to a wider circle of people – relaxed communication with simple terminology, traditional media promotions, glamorous “Oscar awards like” events with celebrities, innovative design, making fashion of it, connecting the web with real life in many ways …  Web Fest did a lot for upgrading and articulation of regional web scene and now is on a way to explore new ways for pushing the limits further…
